A Relaxed Bride is a Happy Bride!


Breathe

Sit on the floor in a warm room, cross-legged, and place your hands, palm-side up, on your knees. Imagine a string connected to your spinal cord that goes out the top of your head, and lifts your upper body toward the ceiling. Close your eyes and breathe.

Soak

Line the bathroom counter with your favorite smelly candles. Run a hot bath, and put your favorite artists on repeat.

Laugh

Do something small with your fiancee that has nothing to do with the wedding. Rent a movie, or give each other a foot massage. Recounting funny moments from your courtship is always an oldy but a goody.

Daydream

Take a moment and stare out the window and allow yourself to have positive daydream sessions. Happy thoughts make a happy girl.

Exercise

Meditate and Give Thanks

Begin each day with gratitude. Problems and worries disintegrate when you take a few minutes to be thankful for what you have.

When it comes to harnessing your mind's energy in preparation for your wedding, use it, don't lose it!

Zzzzzz

Catching some Zzzzz is often the one thing that is neglected the most. When you rest you allow your body and mind to recharge. So take those power naps and plain old just go to bed! Whatever is left on your to do list can wait while you take care of yourself!
